The Scorpion King 3: Battle For Redemption

A catalogue of pure PEPLUM clichés, including elephants! I haven't seen the two first SCORPION KING flicks, just the previews and a few moments on cable TV but I even know that this one seemingly has very little to do with the other two. At IMDb, someone claims that this is a "a sequel to a prequel to a prequel of a sequel of a remake."

The clichés could be either cool or painful. A direct to home video release.

I'm not a fan of Stephen Sommers films even if the first MUMMY film was sorta fun. MUMMY 2 was schlocky at best. While VAN HELSING is one of the worst films I've ever seen. So, any Stephen Sommers product = avoid!

I wonder where this movie was filmed. The Scorpion King was supposed to be from Lower Egypt, but this seems as if he hopped a jet and started trouble in a northern country and took some of Hannibal's elephants with him. Ninjas also in this, I'll check this out on the SYFY Channel when they put it on later in the year. Buy--NO! Rent--NO!!

Did I see a ... ninja? This does have the look of the SyFy Channel movie ... small number of actors, limited sets, costumes, etc. If you have not seen the first two Scorpion King flicks, you really should ... they're very peplum.
