ARELATE is a Franco-Belge comic book based in the Arles region of southern France where there's a Roman arena for gladiatorial action. Arles also hosts a PEPLUM festival every year (see here) which takes place in that arena (I believe). Not too familiar with this one but looks interesting. The French really love their PEPLUM.
