I saw it last night. It's quite beautiful but I don't think the story is anything we haven't seen before.

And that little video is one of the sweetest ones among stuff that will curl your toenails. This was a truly violent film filled with every way to die imaginable, although there is hardly any blood, just a lot of gore. I'm sure the writers had a sub-committee whose job was to suggest the many ways that a life could be taken. It was all quite entertaining.

These are all gods-dudes, led by Zeus, who was the one with the chain. Athena was the lady who got thrust into the sharp thing and I have no idea who the others were. Considering how many titans there were you would think that Zeus would have brought more folks down to fight, but maybe that is all he had, although there are indications later on that he had a lot more to use if he chose.

I'm glad I live here and now. If this is how things were anciently, the world was not a happy place at all to be in.

Micky Rourke had all the best lines. He plays intelligent brutes better than anyone else alive. He was also the only, absolutely the only, being in this film with an actual soul.

SLW, thanks for the mini-review. I'm sorta hesitating on this one; I want to see it but there's just too much in it that seems to be off. The fact that the story is anything we haven't seen before shouldn't bother me as it's normal because we're dealing with classic characters from Antiquity. So the cliches should expected but the whole Matrix slow/fast effects are tired.

So Steven, you love the ultra violence, huh?

OK, I have only one question... WHY THE TITANS BLEED???
