Stock Footage: the Castle (update)

Last November I made a post about the stock footage of a castle that's used in a dozen PEPLUM films (link), wondering what was the original film. Someone replied with an answer and I've acquired CONSTANTINE & THE CROSS several months ago since, which, surprisingly was one of those films I've overlooked and neglected to include it in my collection of 350+ PEP films. Several other scenes from this film have also been used in other films.

Here's a screengrab from the copy I got:

And here's a lobby card for the film:

This another one of my favorite films, and I'm the person who told you about the scene. The big battle sequences have been used in at least a dozen other PEPS. This movie was filmed in what is now the country of CROATIA. I love the thunderous soundtrack and I was fortunate to see it on the big screen growing up. Good drama and action which work well together and a cast of thousands.

So it was you. You were anonymous back then. The film is grand and has a typical Italian PEPLUM feel. For some reason I thought this was a made-in-Hollywood film which is why I was reluctant to buy it.
