Elaborate and spectacular sea battle from CARTHAGE IN FLAMES

This sequence was reused in other films, including the Mark Forest opus GOLIATH AND THE SINS OF BABYLON. It's probably the highlight of CARTHAGE IN FLAMES, which I like but the dubbing is terrible; it's very harsh.

I remember seeing CARTHAGE IN FLAMES in the movies around 1960 or 61, but I don't recall if the dubbing was bad. When your young things like that do get noticed, maybe the dubbing problem arose when they were remastering the movie I'm probably 100% wrong , but do you think that is possible?

I don't know if it's the remastering or maybe the dubbing was a different one (HERCULES has the US dub and International dub) but the voices in this one are grating. Everyone seems to be screaming even when they're simply talking or even whispering. The tone of the voices are all the same. I like this film a lot but if I had some money, I would redub it (keeping Anne Heywood's voice or fix it if it's her voice of course).
