One of those very obscure PEPLUM from the early 1960s that's actually pretty good. Good production values, amazing locations and very colorful. Some might call it boring or slow and yes the film is leisurely paced but I think it's a fun change from the usual wham bam films.

Channing Pollock (wiki) was a magician before becoming an actor. He retired in 1969. As for Luciana, well, she was a PEPLUM regular.
