Venus (Jackie Lane) tries to grab thunderbolts from Mars (Roger Browne) in MARS - GOD OF WAR (1962)
I like this film even though many might not. I have to say that it's a unique film within the PEPLUM genre. There's no other film quite like it. For me, I think this makes it good while those expecting the same might be disappointed. Venus here appears in the likeness of Daphne, the mortal woman Mars has fallen in love with. The US title is Venus against the Son of Hercules, which doesn't make any sense at all. Coming soon to PEPLUM TV.
