Wandisa Guida and Burt Nelson in REVENGE OF THE CONQUERED (1961)
The beginning of this unassuming movie is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, PEPLUM or not. It's not only of the actors and their sharp costumes, with Wandisa looking absolutely gorgeous but the cinematography, the dream-like setting. It's a wow! The story itself is not an astounding one, with some characters acting a bit on the wacky side but I'll never get over what a good looking movie this is. And yet, few people know about it.

If you have gone so far down the list of available American actors to choose from and you choose Burt Nelson as your leading man, no wonder it's so obscure.
