By the Gods!

Samson (Alan Steel ; named Maciste in the original version) lifts a boulder to crush a crocodile in SAMSON & THE SLAVE QUEEN (1963)

The croc's tail can be seen at the bottom right corner. This is one title of a couple of PEPLUM movie in which the hero fights with a crocodile. I love these scenes even if the croc is obviously not real. I made a small compilation of these scenes and Youtube restricted it. The bot cannot figure out that the animal is not real.

YouTube is getting weirder and weirder with it's various curious restrictions. Your posts seem to be particularly badly inflicted.

As for this movie, it's something af a favorite for me, just because of its endearing anything-goes-approach. It's a pity that director Lenzi, who had a real flair for action, later turned scumbag and made those unforgivable god-awful animal torture cannibal flicks.

Quick question:

Is it in Samson & The Slave Queen where the hero runs three henchmen through with a single javelin?

I have this childhood memory that I need to verify.

Yep. it was the last clip with Alan Steel.
My memory said three on the kebab, but two is OK.

Thanks a bunch.
