PEPLUM stars in BARABBAS

Jack Palance is impressed by Joe Robinson in BARABBAS. Joe's role is bigger than a cameo but the camera is rarely on him for more than a second.

The great thing about BARABBAS is the number of PEPLUM stars that make a brief appearance,  mostly during the gladiator scenes. Their cameos are shot in a frustrating way, usually quick or distant so it's difficult to get a great view of them. Paul Muller, Charles Fawcett, Spartaco Nale and Sharon Tate are in it as well but I couldn't find them as this film has a cast of thousand.

Regular PEPLUM star Salvatore Borghese, from the TEN GLADIATORS films, has a somewhat big role in BARABBAS. He fights in the arena against Palance.

Burt Nelson, also in REVOLT OF THE SLAVES

Though not credited at IMDb this is Roger Browne

Weapons expert and stunt coordinator to PEP films Alfio Caltabiano plays a weapons expert and stunt coordinator in the film.

A lot of these actors played in many SPAGHETTI WESTERNS & EURO WAR MOVIES. I'm also a collector of them. One quick question: Anthony Steffan played in SODOM & GOMORAH did he make any other PEPS? He made at least 20-25 westerns.

Anthony appeared in BEATRICE CENCI in 1956 directed by Riccardo Freda, APHRODITE GODDESS OF LOVE in 1958 and INVINCIBLE BROTHERS MACISTE.

I'm always surprised he made so many spaghetti westerns as he's sorta gentle looking man...
