PEPLUM Movie Poster

Italian poster of FURY OF HERCULES (1962)

This is the poster for a re-release. Where I got this image, it states that it's from 1974 but it looks more like 1980s than the 70s.  The English title is funny. The evolution of selling a movie. So different than the movie itself.

That just can't be a 1974 poster. The whole look is wrong, and the sword "the Hercules" is holding looks like a hodgepodge of the two swords in CONAN THE BARBARIAN.

Well, this is a bit of a mystery. It certainly looks far more 80's than 70's. The girl doing aerobics with that staff in the background either originated from this poster or has been "swiped" from another source, i e copied. I've seen a variation of her in at least one other cover or poster, but I can't for my life figure out where. That could give an indication of when this poster was actually made.
