I just learned that Bekim Fehmiu, star of the Italian TV mini-series Homer's The Odyssey, passed away in June of this year. Pretty sad stuff. Bekim had a lot of potential in becoming a big star. He was good-looking, charismatic and a good actor but his choices of projects were unfortunate. His first big cinematic break was in the (007 veteran) Lewis Gilbert film, The Adventurers, which was universally panned and bombed at the box-office. I can concur that the film is exceptionally terrible. So the start his film career was derailed and it never really recovered.
