I personally prefer this title of the goofy MY SON, THE HERO. The original title was THE TITANS ARE COMING or simply THE TITANS, which, in my opinion, should be the actual title in English.

I didn't know that "My Son, The Hero" had been released in the US under an alternate title. I know that "Sons of Thunder"was the title used when the film was released in England.
When the film originally aired on TCM, it was the original English dub and not with any "funny accents". The version I remembered seeing back when it was first released in the US. Recently TCM showed the original Italian version with English subtitles.
Yes, I can see that the poster shows the film was released thru United Artists. I just didn't know that it had been released in the US under the title used in its British release. I remember seeing it in its original theatrical release as, "My Son, the Hero". Mostly for the scene where the girl's breast are shown, no matter how fuzzy the image was. Wonder where and when it was released under the SoT title here in the US. Maybe as a double bill with another film . Or only in some regions and leaving the "My Son, the Hero" title for release in major cities like my native New York where i saw the film. It is among my favorite fantasy films.

The poster size and art shows that it's a US release. British posters are different.

IMDb shows the film was released in the US in 1963.
