By the Gods!

Kirk Morris, as Maciste, pushes a boulder in TRIUMPH OF MACISTE (1961)

This is a very familiar cliché of the PEPLUM genre. I like making compilations of clichés for my PEPLUM TV channel but there's a growing bunch of new subscribers (newbies) who hate them. They don't get what I'm trying to do with these. I want to make a compilation of this one, of heroes pushing or lifting up rocks or boulders, but the negativity from the many newbies sorta makes me start doubting the use of doing these. It's really annoying.

Personally I really like the cliché compilations.

However, you have not followed my suggestion to do one with female slave market scenes. This would nicely complement your one on banquet dance scenes.

Just about every decent Peplum has a slave market scene. This cliché features very frequently in "sword and sand" (Arabian Nights) type films. Most of these scenes are in gorgeous Technicolor.

You could start with Maria Montez in ARABIAN NIGHTS (1942) and SUDAN (1945).

Allow me to add my vote of agreement about posting the cliches. Please do what you like to do and away with any doubt.

I'll keep doing compilations but I'm sorta getting threats from some who only want movies. You never, someone is crazy enough to complain to someone which would affect the channel. It's almost like blackmail.

I'm really sorry to hear about all the shit you have to go through to share this wealth of info and entertainment. I hope you know that apart from some nutjobs (which probably can't function socially in any situation) everyone is very grateful for all the hard work you put into your blogs and channels.
