PEPLUM Recycling

While watching the movies on my PEPLUM TV channel this past weekend I noticed these two things:

King Pelias' cool tunic in HERCULES (above) was reused in GOLIATH & THE DRAGON

The statue seen in CARTHAGE IN FLAMES (above) was slightly modified (mainly for modesty) when it was reused in HERO OF BABYLON

I noticed that in quite a few of their films. I give credit for making good use of their props and sets, a little touch up here and there presto! This all helped keep production costs down.

Are you sure it is the same statue? It looks very different...

It's the same statue. The arm and it's wrapped with a cloth but everything else is the same...breasts, wings, face, etc...they modified it a bit.
