The PEPLUM genre needed to do more of these mash-ups to stay alive but by the time this came out and HERCULES, SAMSON & ULYSSES were released, the entire genre was dying.

The PEPLUM genre needed to do more of these mash-ups to stay alive but by the time this came out and HERCULES, SAMSON & ULYSSES were released, the entire genre was dying.

I'm glad they gave Samson some dignity at the end when he suddenly regained his strength and began to give Hercules a taste of what Hercules had done to him when he was weak during the match set up for them. Hercules was getting smashed at the end by Samson, something he well deserved.
