Sad news to report that versatile PEPLUM actor Rik Battaglia died last Friday. He was 88. Rik appeared in many PEPLUM films and here are just a small sample of his many roles. Rik was the lead star of many films but he often played supporting roles. The good looking actor was, back in the day, an Italian heartthrob and he had his fair share of beefcake moments. I really like Rik. Sniff. RIP!

Thats a good age. I know him best from Sophia Loren's WOMAN OF THE RIVER in 1954, where they make a terrific couple.
