About your musing on "The Triumph of Hercules" and your discussion of the flimsy chains around Hercules' wrists; remember, this is the point in the film where Hercules has lost all his strength because he has killed an innocent man. He was beaten by Milo's soldiers and is a prisoner exactly for that reason. Job returns his strength during the test of blocks so that he can save Ate. The flimsy chains are plausible in the context of the plot.

Yes you’re correct. But even with a weaker Hercules, knowing his history and his temper, I’d use extra precaution and bound him up correctly. lol!
