Circe (Bice Valori) tries to teach Maciste (Kirk Morris) the art of love in MACISTE AGAINST HERCULES IN THE VALE OF WOE (1961)

Good luck, Circe. 😂 Anyway, in this comedy, Circe is this love starved sorceress who can't get a break. It's somewhat funny but also childish. Something kids would find funny. I like the movie and can see what they're trying (spoofing the PEPLUM genre) but asking Maciste to sigh and he blows her down, well, it's not that funny. Kirk's TRIUMPH OF MACISTE (1961) and this movie were both released in October of 1961, so technically it's somewhat his first film. This screenshot is from a quasi-HD print. It's a nice print but the colours are a bit wonky. I won't profile it in an HD Alert! post. I'll add this version of Circe in the PEPLUM MYSTICISM permanent page at one point.
