I noticed that the latter reused camera shots entirely from the former as well as all the mole soldier costumes. Perhaps you should have a blog game of "find the mole bits"<br /><br />Thanks for the blog!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7460884202508888004.post-19222646427292485532019-07-02T19:53:50.944-04:002019-07-02T19:53:50.944-04:00Very good observations by Anonymous.

THE SLAVE OF CARTHAGE is an example.Scott Ochiltreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17818902962971739002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7460884202508888004.post-88049694916190603782019-06-28T17:16:47.048-04:002019-06-28T17:16:47.048-04:00It's a convention (maybe a cliche) in peplum m...It's a convention (maybe a cliche) in peplum movies that the villainess falls for the hero. She conveniently gets killed off and he ends up with a "good" young woman. If the story takes place A.D./CE, the "bad girl" may be a pagan priestess or queen/empress, and the good girl is a Christian. (Quo Vadis; Terror of Rome Against Son of Hercules/Maciste-Gladiator of Sparta.) <br /><br />Similarly, in Westerns, the dance hall girl gets killed off and the hero ends up with the school teacher or the rancher's daughter.
