But I thought Achilles couldn't"t be hurt by anything yet here he"s afraid of Hector. There should be no fear at all.

The climax of Homer's Iliad (Book 22). The fury of Achilles and its destructive consequences appear right from the very first word (ΜΗΝΙΝ) of the Greek epic which has been variously translated as wrath, rage, anger, rancour, resentment, vengeance. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_translations_of_Homer

Achilles is afraid precisely because he can't believe a mortal can resist him more than one round. All mortals knew fight him was useless and lethal but Hector did it and that is his glory.
