I prefer Peplums set in Ancient Greece or Rome. Peplums set in Ancient Egypt or Babylon come across as too foreign to me.
Peplums should have intelligent plots rather than relying on musclemen.
Steve Reeves and Gianna Maria Canale were the best actors ever in the Peplum genre.
I am just the opposite. I like all types of the movies. WAR GODS OF BABYLON was one example which seemed to have a bigger budget. The Viking movies are also favs of mine.
