This is from the Blu-ray release. It was one of the first PEPLUM movies released in HD. Kirk made a ton of movies during this period, with this one being one of the 5 movies he starred in 1964, and then in a few years...nothing. Sadly, Michèle Girardon's film career was short-lived since she committed suicide a few years later. The US title, DEVIL OF THE DESSERT AGAINST THE SON OF HERCULES, is dreadful. ANTHAR THE INVINCIBLE is the real title.
