Vintage advertising!

Amazing Coca-Cola commercial from the set of SIGN OF THE CROSS (1932), erroneously identified as ANTONY & CLEOPATRA. That's Fredric March, Claudette Colbert, and director De Mille, all enjoying some coke.

You are correct that the photo is from SIGN OF THE CROSS, which was a B&W movie.

As Kodachrome had not yet been introduced I wonder how the color photo was made. Presumably it was either hand colored or was made using the two strip Technicolor process.

My guess is that it was the two strip Technicolor process, which could not handle blue. The picture has lots of green shades, but no blue ones.

Good grief; even back in those days..!
