By the Gods!

Rebecca Ferratti, Urbano Barberini, Nigel Chips in GOR (1987)

One of many movies released in the 1980s capitalizing on the 'sword & sorcery' genre which is basically the same thing as PEPLUM movies except its more fantastical elements, nudity, sex and violence. Of all the batch that were released during that decade, this is one of the better ones (I know, that's not saying much). It pretty much follows the same formula used in the 1960s but trashier. The actor on the far right, who plays Torm, is oddly uncredited even if his role is quite substantial. Shot in South Africa, not Italy.

Two movies were made based on the John Norman (pseudo-name) GOR novels. Both were very big disappointments for readers of the books.

Both GOR movies are quite, quite silly, with the sequel (shot straight after the first one) full of unintentionally laughable scenes. As stated in the previous comment, these movies doesn't capture the lush, exotic world of the GOR books at all.
