I am also surprised that Robert Redford and Clint Eastwood have not yet received stars. Presumably Mel Gibson will never get a star, due to his disorganized personal life and anti-Semitic views.Eligibility extends to cartoon characters, such as Minnie Mouse.
The person who gets a star has to agree to it. Also, it needs a certain amount of votes or something like that. But I think it's mainly because she stopped acting in the early 1970s and no one thought about it. I'm glad she finally got one.
