This is one of the very few movies in the history of cinema that I wish had never been made; a list which also includes films where they kill animals for real for an added "kick". 2010's Clash of the Titans is garishly ugly-looking, offensively stupid and obscenely over-wrought, but my main beef with it probably stems from rude and unprofessional comments the now-forgotten then-star Sam Worthington made about my creative hero Ray Harryhausen, the heart and soul of the fantasy films of my childhood.

It seems that whenever they remake a beloved classic movie the people involved in the new version must denigrate the original. But, in the end, it is the original which is remembered long after the remake fads from memory.

Richard, I agree wholeheartedly.

Anonymous, so true. No one will remember this remake but the original will live on.

This BTS photo is still interesting though.
