Ariadne (Rosanna Schiaffino) enjoys a feast with Theseus (Bod Mathias) in THE MINOTAUR

I've re-watched this film last saturday on PEPLUM TV and Rosanna's double role (as Arianna and Evil Princess Freda) is really becoming a favorite of mine. It's one of the most interesting PEPLUM female roles ever. She's mesmerizing in it. Bob is surprisingly good for his first film. One of the best of the bunch.

I couldn't watch it when you had it on because I was away for several hours. Remember this from when I was a kid and saw it in movie theater. Long time ago I saw it on TCM, and I never had a copy of this movie. Can anyone tell me how I can get my hands on a DVD of this neat PEP??

The Minostaur legend was(sort of)
used in the classic 1973 movie
THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD.
Except they had used in its place a cyclopean Centaur in the underground labyrinth.
That was a great movie to
see on the big screen in 1973.

What about the movie Bob Mathias made for Roger Corman?
It was called Atlas(1960).
It was low budget but filmed in Greece.
They must have spent most of the money traveling there, because the Army had about 5 men in it including the dircecter Roger Corman crossing swords.
