I find it odd that one never saw or even heard characters in films made in the 1950s and set in contemporary times mention the existence of orgies and yet they were suddenly quite "visible" in films set in Antiquity. Hmm...I guess orgies only occurred in ancient times.

There's a good one in Conan the Barbarian as well. Just picked that up on Blu-Ray.
very funny quote re: orgy scene in "10 commandments" in charlton heston's autobio "in the arena" - female actress coated in some kind of yuck for scene fed up with retakes (heston says there were many) says to agent "charlie, who do i have to f*** to get out of this picture?"
