Steve Reeves at the premiere of one of his films. What I find interesting about this photo is the beard. When you read contemporary reviews of old Sword & Sandal films, the reviewers always mention the fake beards of the heroes. When I read those reviews, I want to show photos like this one to tell them that no not all beards were fake and Steve's beard was definitely the real deal.
