Can the real Zeus please stand up


Which one of the three images is the correct representation of Zeus? I like the bronze statue above because it's so different from the usually old bearded but muscly deity.

I think you are right I like that one too. The Ancient Greeks probably had many of this type of Zeus statue in many of their grand temples. When I was on the Island of Rhodes I saw a similar one in the large museum in the city of Rhodes. When I was there we were not allowed to take pictures inside, but we could buy the postcards with many pictures of the artifacts which I have given away.

I guess the museum makes its money this way. I'd love to go on the island of Rhodes. I'd also like to see Corinth and see real Corinthian leather. ;-)
