Richard Lynch, as Cromwell, ponders what to do with Simon MacCorkindale (in background) as Nina Van Pallandt awaits orders in THE SORCERER AND THE SWORD

Richard Lynch, who made a couple of PEPLUM films including THE BARBARIANS (1987) died last month, on June 19, 2012 (Simon MacCorkindale passed away two years ago). Richard was a perennial villain. He probably made a few films when he was a good guy but I haven't seen one yet. Anyone who watched films on vhs during the 1980s saw him on a regular basis.

Very nice tribute.

I never saw Richard Lynch play anything but a villain, either. Fortunately, he was very good at being bad & he enlivened many a low budget cinema "epic" or TV show.
